Early in June my fiance' proposed to me, with hopes of having the wedding in December. When we finalized Christmas time wedding, we realized that six months to plan a large wedding was not a lot of time, and that we would need some serious help. I remembered then that my long time friend specializes in event planning and knew that she would be the perfect go-to girl. Within an hour of announcing to her our engagement, I had already received a to-do list broken down by month and day, along with guidelines on how to tackle the greatest necessities such as budgeting, guest lists, booking, and wedding etiquette. It is now about two months until our big day, and I doubt I have gone more than two days without communicating and coordinating with SEP. My fiance' and I basically could have the wedding tomorrow if need-be! No doubt I would have been lost without her help!
